Unforgettable experience in Heathcote!!!

A week ago, I noticed a lack of hikes listed online, so I decided to lead a hike for the first time. I had originally planned to hike the Cliff Top Track in the Blue Mountains, but that’s a 20km hike, and I worried I wouldn’t be able to keep everyone safe and healthy, so I opted for today’s hike. This trail is a round-trip, approximately 13km long, starting at the train station, making it a great, easy group hike. We set off promptly at 10:20 a.m. Shortly after, we encountered a strange rock and stopped to take photos. Thirty minutes later, we reached a stream where many people were swimming and sunbathing. After a brief rest, we reached the waterfall after an hour’s walk, where we had lunch. My self-heating meal attracted a crowd of onlookers, and I ended up eating it with four classmates. Afterward, we walked along a winding path to the waterfall, where we took many photos. We made a quick return, reaching the train station in an hour and a half. Everyone did a great job! This event also gave me a lot of confidence, and I will continue to organize hiking interactions in the future!
