SUBW is open to everyone, regardless of whether you are a student or not. Most people join at Welcome Fest at the beginning of the semester, but you can join at any time online.
Membership options:
For anyone with a valid USU Membership: $20
You’ll join Sydney University Bushwalkers (SUBW). This is the preferred and recommended membership type. It is available to everyone with a USU Membership, which you can get (for free!) from the University of Sydney Union. The SUBW membership lasts from the day you join until the end of February of the following year.
Without USU Membership: $35
You’ll join Suboir United Bushwalkers Incorporated, which is SUBW’s non-university branch. The Suboir membership is available to everyone. It lasts for 12 months from the date of payment.
Don’t worry, all trips are open to both SUBW and Suboir members!
Three steps to join SUBW:
- Create an account on the SUBW website.
- Check your emails and click on the link we sent you.
- Pay your membership fee using Paypal or a credit card.
