It was the day after Halloween and we decided to visit a site which has the reputation of being one of the most haunted sites in Australia.  We met up on the ferry at Circular Quay in Halloween dress up. We took the ferry to Manly and had some snacks from Manly wharf before we walked to Quarantine Station at North Head.

It was quite busy around Manly and many people found our Halloween dress up quite eye catching and entertaining. It was a short walk to the Quarantine station and we got there in time to watch the sunset over the headland.

We explored the main buildings at the site and shared stories about its history and why it was believed to be haunted. On the night we saw a few guided ghost tours and tourists. A few SUBW members had a great time trying to trick and scare other members throughout the night. But it was all just for laughs. We also enjoyed sharing candy with each other.

We visited the jetty and hospital precinct before heading back to Manly to catch the ferry back to Circular Quay.
