Description:
Evening all,
Bron and I are planning to explore a few passes from Kings Tableland into the Kedumba Valley on Saturday. There are a number of old passes through the imposing cliff lines that were used by early settlers, as well as others that have been discovered by bushwalkers over the years. I don't have a final route in mind, as there are several alternate passes we could use to exit the valley depending on how long the first one takes us to find.
This walk is exploratory. It will involve some off-track walking, which likely means some reasonable scrub bashing. I also expect some scrambling, but nothing too technical. It will require reasonable fitness and is not suitable for beginners.
We can fit a couple people in our car. If someone else with a car comes we may do a small car shuffle to avoid a road bash at the end.
