Mount Wondabyne Walk - Sunday 4th September 2016.

Located in the Brisbane Waters National Park.

This is short notice but the weather outlook has greatly improved for Sunday.
It might be raining now, but Sunday is forecast to be "mostly sunny and 20 Degrees".

Walk is about 13km, and easy/medium with a couple of moderate climbs, but not too steep.
It is a part of the Great North Walk (GNW).
Views from on top of Mt Wondabyne to the coast and Blue Mountains.
The watercourses should be running well, and the Wattle and wildflowers will be out.
What to bring:
Lunch, 1.5 Litres water (no reliable water on the track),
Good shoes,
Rain cover - just in case, although forecast looks OK at this stage.
There are NO shops anywhere along this track so no chance to buy water or lunch if you don't bring it with you!

Chance of leeches: low.
Snakes: unlikely (too cool). If we are really lucky we might see a Python.

Train from Central to Wondabyne. Trip is 70 minutes.
Details of what train to catch will be given to you once you sign up.
There is no road access to Wondabyne so you can't drive there.
Back to Sydney by 5.40pm.
You MUST read all emails I send you about this walk carefully. This is one trip where you can be on the right train but still miss the walk by not reading instructions carefully!
Only sign up if you are fairly sure you can come.
