Hello everyone,

I'm planning to visit the Blue Gum Forest in the Grose Valley as a two day trip over this weekend. I will be getting public transport to get to and from Blackheath train station.

The track notes that I will be using come from WildWalks:

In terms of what to expect - the Blue Gum Forest is a fine example of a closed forest and has historical significance as the birthplace of conservation efforts in New South Wales. The walk in and out passes through some of the biggest waterfalls in the Blue Mountains and will provide wonderful views over the valley.

Everyone is welcome - however please be aware that the walk will be ~25km with a total climb of ~1400m.

You will also need to organise your own gear/borrow what you need from the club - gear nights normally run on Thursdays.

I will share further details on signup but please get in touch if you have any questions.
