SUBW (Sydney University Bushwalkers) membership is open to everyone.
Most people join at O-Week in February or March, otherwise at the monthly slide nights held at the University of Sydney.
Please also make sure you join the email list and keep an eye on the walks programme.
Ordinary Membership - $20
Ordinary Membership costs $20 per year, and is available to any member of the University of Sydney Union who owns an ACCESS card (which costs $99 per year). Ordinary Members are covered by Personal Accident insurance on all Club trips, may borrow equipment from the gear locker for Club trips, and have full voting rights at Club meetings.

While we strongly encourage you to get an Access Card, those without can still get involved by joining Suboir United Bushwalkers (also SUBW).
Members and Prospectives are affiliated with the Club until the AGM of the following year.

University of Sydney Union
As of September 2006, SUBW is part of the University of Sydney Union Clubs and Societies programme,
so ACCESS card holders get a discount on the membership fee.
Previously, SUBW was affiliated with SU Sport - this is a separate organisation from USU, so membership of SU Sport doesn't get you a discount.
