SUBW (Sydney University Bushwalkers) membership is open to everyone.
Most people join at O-Week in March (find us at the Food Co-op stall), otherwise at the monthly slide nights held at the University of Sydney.
You can also find us at the Forest Lodge Hotel (117 Arundel St Glebe),
hosting the meat raffle each Thursday evening.
If you can't find us in person, please print out a registration form

Ordinary Membership - $15
Ordinary Membership costs $15 per year, and is available to any member of the University of Sydney Union who owns an ACCESS card (which costs $99 per year). Ordinary Members are covered by Personal Accident insurance on all Club trips, may borrow equipment from the gear locker for Club trips, and have full voting rights at Club meetings.
Associate Membership - $15
Associate Membership costs $15 per year, and is available to anyone who owns an ACCESS card (which costs $99 per year). Associate Members are covered by Personal Accident insurance on all Club trips, and may borrow equipment from the gear locker for Club trips, but may not vote at Club meetings.
Prospectives - $25
If you're not sure that you want to become a Member, you might consider becoming a Prospective - this costs $25. Prospectives are not members, so they don't have voting rights. They are however welcome at Club social events, and will be insured through the Confederation of Bushwalking Clubs NSW for up to three Club trips. A Prospective can then become an Ordinary or Associate Member by buying an ACCESS card.
Members and Prospectives are affiliated with the Club until the AGM of the following year.

University of Sydney Union
As of September 2006, SUBW is part of the University of Sydney Union Clubs and Societies programme,
so ACCESS card holders get a discount on the membership fee.
Previously, SUBW was affiliated with SU Sport - this is a separate organisation from USU, so membership of SU Sport doesn't get you a discount.
