Quick! Take some photographs! It's time for a SUBW Photography Competition!

What: Entries are open to all past and present SUBW members. Photos must have a bushwalking theme, and fit into one of the four entry categories: summer, autumn, winter, spring. They must have been taken in Australia. You may only submit a maximum of four entries - one in each category. We understand that seasons often overlap in Australia however we would like you to enter your shots in the season you believe most suitable.

Format: The photographs must be provided as a PRINT (the larger the better), along with information on the original format, such as negative, transparency or digital file (please indicate the image size in pixels). If your photo was originally taken digitally then please provide a CD containing the file. Low quality digital photographs are not suitable - please provide us with your originals if they are still available. Only film entries that are short listed will have to be provided in their original format (negative or transparency) and these will be returned.

The details: Entries should be accompanied by an entry form. Please include details of the photograph, such as where and when it was taken, what type of camera, filter and exposure were used (if known). Digitally altered images will not be accepted. Please include your membership years and contact details, including home and work telephone numbers and email address.

How are they used? Images will be selected for the first ever SUBW 2007 calendar. The grand prize winning shot will be printed on the cover and the winning images will form the calendar month images. Unless you indicate otherwise, we'd like to use the other entries we receive in displays and slide shows at the 60th dinner and part of O-Week stalls and other publicity opportunities. In all instances your work will be attributed to you.

Prizes: Each selected entry will be awarded one calendar, and the glory and honour of staring into an untold number of offices, studies and dining rooms for approximately one (1) entire month.

Where do I send my entry? Please send your entries to the above address or deliver them to a slide night (June 28, July 26 or August 30).

When: Submissions will be accepted until 31st August 2006.
Remember that the photos will form a calendar, so remember to keep your images full of interest - they'll be on your wall for a month!
